About me

My Passion for Technology and Making

From a young age, I've been fascinated by the way things work. This curiosity quickly turned into a passion for technology and making, filled with experiments – from reverse engineering old electronics to piecing together new ones.

Inspired by Experience

Growing up with a younger brother with autism has deepened my empathy and profoundly influenced my perspective, particularly in valuing inclusivity. Noticing his struggles with daily tasks heightened my awareness and fuels my drive to question and reform unjust societal systems & norms.

Innovating at the Intersection: Assistive Technology

My passion for technology, combined with insights from the disability community, guides me toward developing inclusive and innovative solutions. This blend of interests isn't just a career focus, but a personal commitment to create technology that genuinely meets the diverse needs of individuals.

Experience

Rehabilitation Robotics Lab

Joining the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab in Philadelphia as a Research Assistant in October 2023, I've dived into the world of data analysis with a clear goal: to make a difference in pediatric healthcare. My daily work involves parsing through sensor data in MATLAB, a key step in improving early detection methods for Cerebral Palsy. By refining predictive models, we aim to offer timely interventions for infants facing developmental challenges.

Research Assistant, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Oct 2023 – Present

Partner,  Stamford, Connecticut April – Aug 2023

At Neurability Technologies, I streamlined operations, website accessibility, and client engagement to leverage neurodiverse talent in the tech sector.

In this role, I'm focused on transforming data into actionable insights to advance early detection and intervention for infants with Cerebral Palsy.

Jochi

At Jochi, I spearheaded the research and engagement with over 100 student support centers, significantly enhancing our reach to children with learning difficulties. My work in refining our website boosted its accessibility and user experience, making interactions more intuitive and engaging. I streamlined operational processes for increased efficiency and established key partnerships with educational stakeholders, amplifying Jochi’s educational impact.

In this role, I am expanding Jochi's reach, driving its impact in providing specialized educational support for neurodiverse students.

Neurability Technologies

Neurability Technologies seeks to deliver technology solutions powered by neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.) talent. In my role, I led the development of our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, authored a series of four marketing articles, and overhauled our website to prioritize accessibility and adherence to WCAG standards. Additionally, I optimized our operational model to better harness the talents of neurodiverse employees and met with prospective clients, resulting in the successful establishment of multiple Master Service Agreements (MSA).

Pollen Project

At The Pollen Project, I forge partnerships between disability advocates and design experts, championing inclusive and accessible design initiatives. I've spearheaded the collaborative redesign of accessible spaces in our town library and nurtured partnerships with local design firms. This approach prioritizes consulting individuals with different abilities, leading to improved accessibility on three projects for a local design firm.

Cofounder, Westport, Connecticut Dec 2022 – Present

At The Pollen Project, I am forgingcommunity partnerships and driving inclusive design projects for accessibility, enhancing our communities’ inclusivity.
